Nestled against the scenic backdrop of Anchorage, Alaska, Kincaid Elementary boasts a beautiful campus where a positive and welcoming school climate makes everyone feel like family. The school is defined by its strong academic programs and a dedicated team of teachers and staff who are deeply invested in every student's success. Education at Kincaid extends well beyond the classroom walls, embracing the unique Alaskan landscape; students regularly get outside to enjoy the natural environment through ice skating, sledding, and skiing.
Kincaid takes pride in their vibrant outdoor garden, lovingly managed by community volunteers, which features 14 bustling beds of vegetables and flowers alongside an orchard boasting five varieties of apple trees and a cherry tree. The garden is an outdoor learning and gathering space in fall and spring.
Ultimately, Kincaid is not just a school—it serves as the true center of the Kincaid community, bringing families together and inspiring young learners through a shared spirit of academic excellence and outdoor adventure.
